Subsequently, the following 6 categories emerged as representative of support related to the improvement of patient's motivation : "experience of emotional support based on mutual exchange,""guiding relationship,""trust,""friendship,""interactions between patients and medical personnel,"and "encouragement of interactions between patients."Emotional support was often cited assupporting patient's motivation.
