| 内容記述 | Dyslexia is the disorder of having extreme difficulty in reading even in the absence of intelligence and perceptual problems, and as a result, writing also becomes difficult. In this study, we conducted screening of lower grade elementary school students in order to review methods for early detection of children with dyslexia. The subjects consisted 672 grade 1 and 2 elementary school students attending normal class. The screening was carried out in two stages. In the first stage, class teachers were asked to evaluate reading and writing skills in the children using a checklist, and select children with problems. As a result, 18 children were selected from the first graders and 46 from the 84 second graders. In the second stage, the Screening Test of Reading and Writing for Japanese Primary School Children (STRAW) and substitute IQ test "Raven's Colored Progressive Matrices (PCPM)" were conducted on the selected children individually. Eventually, one first grader (0.3%) and ten second graders (2.9%) were suspected to have dyslexia. Based on these results, the suitability of the test methods and tasks in implementing them were discussed. |

| 内容記述 | 発達性読み書き障害とは,知能や知覚に問題がないにもかかわらず,読みが極端に苦手で,結果として書くことも苦手なものをいう.本研究では,この発達性読み書き障害の子どもを早期に発見する方法を検討するために,小学校低学年児童に対してスクリーニング検査を実施した.対象は通常学級に在籍する小学校1･2年生,672名である.スクリーニングは以下の2段階で行った.第1段階では,学級担任にチェックリストを用いて児童の読み書きの評価を行ってもらい,疑いのある児童を選出した.その結果1年生で18名,2年生で46名の児童が選出された.第2段階として,これらの児童に対して,｢小学生の読み書きスクリーニング検査｣と簡易的な知能検査として｢レーヴン色彩マトリックス検査｣を個別に実施した,最終的に発達性読み書き障害が疑われた児童は,1年生で1名(0.3%),2年生で10名(2.9%)であった. これらの結果から,検査方法の妥当性と実施上の課題について検討した. | |||||||||||||
