It has also been suggested that mutations in the KCNQ4 K+ channel gene are responsible for autosomal dominant nonsyndromic hearing impairment (DFNA2). Negatively activating potassium (K+) conductance in rodent cochlear hair cells called gK,n, comprises KCNQ4 subunit, member of the KCNQ family of K+ channels. This conductance is important in setting the hair cells' resting potentials and input conductances. Here we try to examine the biophysical l?roperties of the conductance base on the voltage dependence, stability during whole-cell recording and permeability to Cs+. gK.n was proved to exist in rat outer hair cells that it was blocked by KCNQ4 blocker, linopirdine and has a significantly negative (mean Vl/2 = - 91.2 ± 1.06 mV) and broad (mean S-value= -12 ± 0.46 mV) voltage range of activation (n =24). However, gK,n does not show any permeability to Cs+ but only leak residual conductance with mean of 1.6± 0.44 nS (n =6). gK,n is stable i.e., its properties do not change (\"wash out\") despite of the replacement of internal solution with pipette solution during whole-cell recordings.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10001_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"秋田医学会"}]},"item_10001_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"出版タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_1724099666130":{"attribute_name":"収録物識別子","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"03866106","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"},{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN00009294","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"open access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"作成者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Wong, Weng Hoe","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"5574","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Eatock, Ruth Anne","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"5575","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"ISHIKAWA, Kazuo","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"5576","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2017-02-16"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"akigaku31-1e.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"448.5 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"akigaku31-1e.pdf","url":"https://air.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1542/files/akigaku31-1e.pdf"},"version_id":"6339b17e-3691-47a5-9b6f-8591b2602237"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"potassium channels","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"outer hair cells","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"cochlear","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"whole-cell recording","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"The Negatively Activating Potassium Conductance of Rat Cochlear Hair Cells","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"The Negatively Activating Potassium Conductance of Rat Cochlear Hair Cells","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"15","path":["864"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2009-01-18"},"publish_date":"2009-01-18","publish_status":"0","recid":"1542","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["The Negatively Activating Potassium Conductance of Rat Cochlear Hair Cells"],"weko_creator_id":"15","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-08-22T06:31:22.782606+00:00"}
