| 内容記述 | Demographic changes in five populations of Rumex obtusifolius which grow in different plant communities including levee of arable land, grassland, forest floor and roadsides have been investigated in this study, in order to develop the teaching methods available for the environmental education within "cultivation" area of industrial arts in the lower secondary school. In R. obtusifolius, the characteristics of population dynamics, distributional pattern of individuals, and the causal and risk of mortality were influenced greatly by the life-form diversity of community. The mortality rates in each site were generally high towards both ends of a gradient. The recruitment rates in each site did not show a certain tendency in changes with life-form diversity in community. However, mean recruitment rates of habitats significantly changed according to degree of life-form diversity of community, showing that the recruitment rates decreased towards the higher end of gradient. In population of R. obtusifolius within a community with high life-form diversity the probability of survivorship of individuals depended on size for matures and time of emergence for seedlings. Consistent differences in distribution between Rumex spp. were found along the gradient in each habitat. This distributional relationship could be represented along a gradient throughout five habitbts. From the above mentioned facts, we thought the simplified analysis of the population dynamics of the weeds and ruderal plants may serve as effective materials for environmental education in cultivation learning. |
