| 内容記述 | Today, the Department of Education attaches importance to "School Flower Gardening" and "School Vegetable Gardening" for the purpose of forestering pupils' warm hearts. But it seems that the Department makes light of the cultivation education done in industrial arts. According to the Revised Course Study for Junior High School, each junior high school staffs have to choose 3 of 4 regions (Mechanics, Metal Processing, Cultivation, Information Basic) before 1993. We supposed there won't be so many schools that are going to choose Cultivation Education. Therefore, we sent out a questionnaire concerning cultivation education, to all the teachers in charge of industrial arts in Akita prefecture. The results: 85 % of the answerers say' that cultivation education is important, 65% of them say that they intend to choose cultivation education. Then, as the reasons of the difficulties in doing cultivation education, they mention the pressure of school affairs, the insufficiencies of educational facilities, the shortage of budget, etc. We found also that the younger teachers are less interested in cultivation education. We think much of cultivation education in today's junior high school education. Let us pose some problems about the purpose, the contents and the method of cultivation education in future. |
