| 内容記述 | 本研究は, 死が身近な存在であった近代前史から近代までの終末期の看護の変遷について調べた. 近代以前は極楽 浄土を願うことから臨終のための儀式が重要とされ, 僧医や看病僧によって終末期の看護がおこなわれていた. 近代 の終末期の看護は, 真死と仮死の判別, 死後の処置の方法, 死の徴候の観察, 環境整備, 四肢の保温を行われていた. これは, 明治に入り, １) 神仏分離令により廃仏毀釈運動がおこり仏教看護が崩壊した事. ２) 医制により臨終の場 には僧医でなく医師が立ち会うように変化した事. ３) 伝染病が流行した事. これらの社会背景が影響を及ぼしたと 推察される. This study examines the transition of terminal care from the past, when death was familiar, to the modern day. In the past, deathbed rituals to pray for passage into Buddhist paradise were important, and monks performed terminal care. Modern terminal care involves : distinction of actual death from apparent death ; postmortem treatment ; observation of signs of death ; management of the environment ; keeping limbs warm. From the Meiji period, 1) the anti-Buddhist movement stemming from the separation of Buddhism and Shinto led to the collapse of Buddhist nursing, 2) Medical law required a doctor, not a monk, to be present at the deathbed. 3) Epidemics were prevalent. We observed the influence of this social background. |
