| 内容記述 | 乳児期の夜泣きに関して母親211人に対しアンケート調査を行い, 児の夜泣き経験をもつとの回答のあった64人を 対象として, 本研究では夜泣きの重症度に関わる要因を検討した. 夜泣きの重症度を測る尺度として｢一週間の夜泣 きの総時間数｣を設定した. 夜泣きの重症度は, 平均6.8±10.1時間(0.09～42.0時間) で, 10時間を越えると, 母親 の｢寝不足感が常にある｣, ｢疲労感が常にある｣との回答が多くみられた. 夜泣きの重症度は出生体重と関連があり, 10時間を越える児の出生体重は有意に少なかった(ｐ＜0.05). また, 10時間を越える児では, 日中に30分以上持続 する泣きがみられる頻度の高い傾向があり(ｐ＝0.08), 昼寝の回数が有意に少なかった(ｐ＜0.01). 本研究から, 夜泣きの重症度が10時間を越える場合は, 何らかの看護介入を考慮する必要があると思われる. 夜泣きの重症度は児 の出生体重や日中の睡眠パターンとの関連が認められる.Questionnaires on night-time fussing and crying (fuss/cry) behavior of infants were obtained from 211 mothers, and, based on the data of 64 mothers who had answered that their infants showed this behavior, we investigated the factors related to the severity of night-time fuss/cry of infants. The severity of night-time fuss/cry was determined to be the total duration of this behavior per week, and the mean severity of the 64 infants was 6.8 ± 10.1 hours (0.09～42.0hours). Feeling persistent sleep deprivation or general fatigue during the daytime was common amongst mothers where the severity was over 10 hours. The severity corresponded to birth weight, and the birth weight of infants with severity of over 10 hours was significantly lower (p＜0.05). Infants with severity of over 10 hours tended to have higher incidence of more than 30 minutes crying (p＝0.08), and had a significantly lower incidence of naps (p＜0.05) during daytime. Based on this study, nursing intervention for mothers should be considered when the total duration of the night-time fuss/cry of their infants per week is over 10 hours. The severity of night-time fuss/cry appears to be related to the infant s birth weight and patterns of sleep during the daytime. |
