Twenty students were divided into two groups. In group A, class consists of a lecture (30 min.) , self-study (30 min.) and practice using a model (30 min.) in this order. In group B, class is composed of a lecture (30 min.), practice using model (30 min.) and self-study (30 min.) in this order. Tests (marked out of 45) were performed three times: at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the class. Group B's results were significantly better than those of group A in the questions relating to the inspection and palpation of the breast tumor .
