Students' images of diabetes mellitus, cancer and schizophrenia and those afflicted with them were studied. The subjects were 78 first-year students, 71 second-year students and 63third-year students of the nursing college. It was found: I) Third-year nursing college students had experience of contact with the sick, most of whom had been admitted to hospital.
