An experiment was administered to 6-year-old preschoolers and 5th graders and university students, and each group was divided into two conditions (eye contact condition and non-eye contact condition). They were instructed to explain a swing and scissors. The results showed that there was no difference of the total duration of speech production and the frequency of gesture between both conditions, and that the frequency of gesture changed tracing a Dshaped across different age groups. The finding of no difference between both conditions indicated that the eye contact were not influence on the frequency of gesture. We discussed the interaction "listener's image" and gesture production.}, pages = {69--75}, title = {聞き手の視線の遮断が話し手の発話・身振りに及ぼす影響について : 幼稚園年長児,小学校5年生,大学生における発達心理学的考察}, year = {2001} }
