Method: The public guideline for the music and the the textbooks of the music education that are edited for the undergraduated students of the future teachers were inspected from the viewpoint of the educational contents and the methods. Resusts : Although the public guideline is conciliatory and covers the whole of contents and methods of the music education, it's concrete contents and methods are not so rigidly prescribed and it does not necessarily restrict the actual music education. This fact is reflected in the text books of music education that endeavor to concrete the public guideline of music. So we inevitably regard that various problems of the present music education are ascribed to the process of the abstraction of the public guideline.
