The addition of BaTi03 and CaTi03, especially the addition of  SaTi03decreased the grain size of ceramics, nonlinear coefficient (a) and varistor voltage. The capacitance equivalent to the dielectric constan t of the varistor was increased by the addition of BaTi03. As the result, the height of Schottkey barrier decreased with the addition of BaTiO,.
