The effect of the addition of BaTi03 and CaTiO, on the electrical properties of the SrTi03-based varistor have been investigated. The addition of BaTi03 and CaTi03, especially the addition of SaTi03decreased the grain size of ceramics, nonlinear coefficient (a) and varistor voltage. The capacitance equivalent to the dielectric constan t of the varistor was increased by the addition of BaTi03. As the result, the height of Schottkey barrier decreased with the addition of BaTiO,. We thought that the decrease of nonlinear coefficient (a) was the result of the decrease in height of Schottky barrier. |
