| 内容記述 | Archeomagnetic investigations have been performed in Akita and Iwate Prefecture. Fourteen remains in Akita, Ohdateno, Suwadai-C, Shimozutsumi-C, Sakanoue-F, Gohshidate, Takewara, Kamikumanosawa, Akita-Jyou, Tomigasawa-A, Tomigasawa-A', Tomigasawa-B, Tomigasa·wa-C, Takuboshita and Kamokodai and 3 remains in Iwate, Aosawa, Tamagawa-A and Tamagawa-B were investigated. Total 1274 specimens in 66 furnaces or kilns were collected from above remains. Archeological age was distributed from 15000 B.C. to 1868 A.D. Mean inclinations and declinations were obtained. In the present stage it is difficult to create a new variation curve of geomagnetic field direction as a function of age in Tohoku area. Results obtained from this work offer the basic data for the reference curve of geomagnetic field vector in Tohoku area and a correct reference curve will be provided in the future. |
