| 内容記述 | In the excavating spot in a site, we sometimes find red soil. For archeological interpretation it is extremely important to judge whether the spot received the effect of heat. However we find it difficult to determine whether the red color comes from heat or the soil is originally red colored. I collected samples from two parts in Koda V site; one from red soil and the other from non-red soil. Using rock magnetic investigation I clearly showed that the red soil did not experience a heat. This technique can be used to determine the trace of heat in the sites. |
