内容記述 | The theoretical analysis has been made for the quantitative evaluation of a diffusion bonding surface by the calculations of reflection and transmission coefficients, or by the backscatter intensity strength estimation. The two analytical models for a deteriorated bonding surface are intro· duced. The first model is by the insertion of a dissimilar elastic layer in a homogeneous medium, and the second one is by the distribution of a lot of penny-shaped microcracks. Scattering waves generated by the incidence of the Gaussian deam, have mach information on imperfections. Then the change of electrical power due to the backscattering wave from the bonding surface is an important clue to characterize the imperfections. Here, the theoretical formulation based on the dynamic reciprocal theorem under some kinematical postulations, and the closed form expression for the backscatter intensity are shown. So, the expression can be available to develop an automatic device for the flaw characterization by the backscatter intensity measurement data. Some numerical results show us that the power intensity is approximately proportional to the flaw density and the flaw size. |
