Most of body composition analyses are based on the model in which the body consists of two chemically distinct compartments, fat and fat-free mass. Criterion technique for estimating percent body fat is a densitometry with underwater weighing. Meanwhile, other techniques such as\nplethysmography, potassium counting, creatinine excretion and deuterium dilution\nhave been also developed.
