| 内容記述 | The aim of this study was intended to investigate GutsMuths' thought on classification and substance of ball games that were selected for youth als educational and physical educational plays. GutsMuth classifies at first movements according to type of execise. In "Gymanstics for youth" he identies three areas of physical education; "gymnastic exercises", "hand works" and "social games" . In 1796 he published "Games for Exercise and Perfection of the Body and Spirit" (Play book) which included ball games. 23 kinds of ball games are taken positons in class of exercise game; 1) ball game, 2) wood-ball game and 3) nine pin bowling. Those have all moral, mental and physical characteristic for youth. Ball games develope youth's abilites of observation, aUent-iveness and sensible judgment. And all ball games are especially very pleasure and fun for youth. GutsMuths enriches physical education (gymnastics) with ball games and other games. This practices are exceedingly origiral and still a half century too early. |
