内容記述 | The validity of traditional way of pedagogical thinking comes to be suspected lately. One of the most serious doubts casted on it is that about the common belief; 'Autonomy is uncoditionally good.' (That is to say, all human beings ~also children~ should be free from all complusions, but adults must force children in order to encourage their autonomy.) Postmodernist philosophers indicate that if such belief is true, we can't but fall into paradox, because compelling children is inconsistent with their own freedom. But I think, because of mixing up unlimited formal freedom with actual one, they regard such way of thinking as paradox. So we have to clarify more strictly the conditions of realizing autonomy. And I choose the thoughts of German Idealists, which prepared decisively modern way of thinking, as a clue to investigate the process of the realization of the actual freedom. Among them, I especially grapple with the later philosophy of J. G. Fichte. In his later lectures on the doctrine of the science (Wissenschaftslehre), he tried to make clear the way of self-realizaton of I (Ich). And his attempt is quite similar to that of M. Heidegger who discovered 'hermeneutic circulation' which generalizes the fact of the human existence as follow; 'When we put our intentions into practices in our daily states, we are always given unintentionally the comprehension of the whole sense of our existence.' In this paper, interpreting Fichte's thought as a hermeneutics of human life (Lebenshermeneutik), I made foundamental examination of the 'freedom-complusion paradox' , which follows about the exhortation to autonomy. |
