          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">小学校において、算数の学習に困難を抱える児童がいる。本研究では、算数の学習に困難を示す児童が、どれくらい存在し、いつ頃から困難を示すのかについて調査した。調査方法は、算数に関係したチェックリスト(「計算する」と「推論する」の2つの領域)を用いて、担任教師に各児童への評価を行ってもらった。対象は、小学校の通常の学級に在籍する2～6年生2227人である。調査の結果、算数に困難を示した児童は、109人(4.9%)で、性差は認められなかった。また、2～6年生の発生率はほぼ5%前後と同じで、学年による差も認められなかった。このことから、小学校2年生という早い段階で、算数に困難を示す児童を発見し、支援していける可能性が示唆された。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">In elementary schools,some pupils have difficulties in learning mathematics.In this study,we investigated how many pupils found it difficult to understand mathematics and when they found it difficult.We asked the classroom teachers to eveluate the level of understanding using a check list related mathematics(two mathematical fields including"calculating"and "inferring").The subjects were 2,227 pupils in the regular classes ranging from the 2^nd to 6^th grade of elementary schools.As a result of the survey.109 puplis (4.9%) had difficulties in learning mathematics.There was no gender difference.In teh pupils ranging from the 2^nd to 6^th grade,those who had difficulties consistently accounted for about 5% and the percentage did not differ from grade to grade.Therefore,the possibility was suggested that teh pupils in the lower grades of elementary school such as those at 2^nd grade who had difficulties in learning mathematics might be identified and supported.</datacite:description>
